Partnerships
Eastern Movie Journal considers collaborations that make sense for readers interested in cinema and screen culture. Commercial work is kept distinguishable from editorial coverage, with clear labels and no promise of favourable treatment.
Relevant collaborations
We consider cultural and educational projects, event or publication partnerships, and carefully selected promotional placements related to film, cinema history or screen arts. A proposal should explain the subject, intended audience, format, timing and any requested editorial involvement.
Partner placements
Partner links or promotional placements may appear in agreed areas of the website when relevant to the publication's subject. Paid placements are labelled as advertising or partner material where they appear; they do not determine article conclusions or editorial selection.
Editorial boundaries
Partners may provide factual material for review, but editorial decisions remain separate. We do not offer guaranteed coverage, undisclosed promotion or control of independent articles in exchange for a collaboration.
How to enquire
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include a brief description of the organisation or project, the proposed format and the terms you have in mind; the publication will consider whether it is a suitable fit.
Every film carries a world of choices
Eastern Movie Journal looks beyond plot summaries to consider how films tell stories, shape images and reflect the screen traditions around them.
